Default Loss of HP/Torque

How’s it going I got a few questions? I Installed a TSP v.2 torquer-113 cam myself and followed the LS1 how to .com website. It said get it” dot to dot” and that’s what I did. I was wondering how much of a difference in HP/Torque will I be off if I didn’t degree the cam (say 1 degree off), also when I installed the pushrods I used the PR length checker which after the math said to use 7.3somthing but that was without using the yella terra rocker pedestal, will this affect my HP/Torque more so than the cam not being degreed? I have the water pump off and pulleys and I want to degree the cam and also find out why I didn’t make my expected hp goals. I wasn’t too happy with the dyno results. Anyhow thanks.

if you are off a tooth on the cam gear or crank gear then it will be off by alot more than 1*. I think each tooth is like 15* or something like that. so yeah being off a tooth will **** you. not having the correct length pushrods will cause some problems too. you need to make sure your lined up dot to dot on the cam and timing gear. measure for correct pushrod length. as far as degreeing the cam goes, degreeing is more to make sure the cam matches the cam card so i would say thats pretty important. you will need some things to degree your cam (about $120 worth of stuff from summit).

I did measure the PR with the rockers they just didn't have the pedastal on it. Its definelty dot 2 dot on the cam and timing gear. I got some rework ahead of I know this much. Does Summit sell a degree wheel for ls1 in the engine bay? and is their a part number the summit stuff?
