Default Block modifications for LS6 PCV conversion

I've searched all over for a conclusive answer.

Is it safe to say that if a block does not have the "bullseyes" that is also does not have protrusions in the valley that must be cut to install a LS6 valley cover?

My 2001 SS does not have the bulleyes and I could really give a crap if its an LS6 block, I just would like to know what I'm up against before tearing into it.

even if you do have to cut it, its a very small piece and takes 5-10min with a dremel and a little cutoff weel, just make sure you have a couple of cutoff disks with you

More than likely you do have the LS6 block and not have to modify however modifying it isn't that hard at all. Dremel (cutting disk) or a small hacksaw will do the job as long as you cover all the opening areas and clean off all the debris in the valley it is really easy to do and safe.

I think LS1howto.com has instructions with pics. Search around that site and you should find it.
