Default New timing set, crank gear wont go on all the way

Just finishing up a cam swap, and I replaced my timing set with a rollmaster single roller. I got the gears lined up perfect, and I have the new cam gear on and torqued down. I put the crank gear on and it looks like its not on all the way. The cam gear appears to be sitting farther back than the crank gear is, and the keyway on the crank isnt level with the gear, there's probably 1/16th to 1/32nd of an inch gap there. What to do?

What did you use to seat the crank gear?

yes, how did you seat the crank gear?

i used a big socket that fit around the crank snout and on top of the crank gear. then tapped it on with a hammer.

You can use the old timing chain sprocket as a punch/guide for the new gear if it's not seated all the way (Mark at Raging showed me this one).
