Water Jacket proximity to header stud... If anyone was wondering, they're really f@#$% close. Ask me how I know. Very front header stud on the driver side head broken off flush with the head. I got it from the salvage yard like that. Figured it shouldn't be too tough to back out a broken stud after drilling out the middle and using an EZ out. WRONG! I failed horribly.
So anyway, long story longer. What are my options? New (used) heads? drill and tap out bigger, put a bunch of copper RTV on the end of the bolt and hope for the best?
PS, I never got the drilled out header bolt backed out.
PPSS, does anyone have a spare 706 driver head for sale for the low low?
