Woke up and engine knocking, What is it?
Woke up and engine knocking, What is it? when I started 01 Trans am this morning I heard a light knocking in the idle but then it went away after it warmed up(10 mins), should I be worried?

if your neighbor keeps putting saw dust in your
engine id bet it will get expensive real quick LOL
naw im thinking piston slap too
ive got an engine that had piston slap and got 248,000 miles and still going
change your oil maybe that will help the lifter ticking
nothing you can really do other than a rebuild to fix piston slap
