etp head question

Have a member on here willing to sell me his set of used etp 215 heads. Already built ready to bolt onto my car for 1800 picked up. Heads have under 4000 miles on them. Are these good heads? I was going to get a pair of as cast tricks or wait for Texas to reveal their as cast heads. Wanting a cam similar to raptr or tsunami...will these heads work for me? Already have full exhaust done and will do intake and tb in the future. Don't plan on boosting the car. Just a fun weekend car. Any input would be good thanks!

The ETP heads, though not made anymore, are top of the line heads. Do a search and you'll see some killer dyno numbers with these heads. They do require the LS3 rocker stands if I remember correctly.

There are acouple members on here with them that have made good power running them. Id go for them if they are in the shape he claims.

Anything specific to look for? Not saying he is trying to rip me off. Just don't know a lot about heads to know what im looking at...just paranoid I guess

You really need to insist that he gets them pressure tested. It's always a risk buying used heads. Valves may need to be replaced, they will likely need to be milled to ensure they are 100% level, valve guides may need replaced, springs will need to be replaced, etc. But, if your getting them for a really good deal, it's probably worth it.
