Well ****. I'm ordering Scorpions in a few weeks for my cam. It's a 229/236 .631.631

I'm not too comfy running stockers, even with the trunion upgrade due to the lift.

My springs, come hell or high water, WILL be Lunati duals rated for .660, and I'm fairly certain I'll be ordering Lunati Street Link-Bar lifters.

Scorpion has a lifetime warranty. I was, and have been under the impression for a WHILE now the Scorpion has since fixed the issue.

If I looked at the right Lunatis, they only have an open spring pressure of 400 pounds.

Its the lift that bothers me. Im worried about valve tip scrub and possibly wearing out my guides prematurely.

Sorry for the hijack, OP.

Right, and I was just saying that those springs will not put a lot of pressure on the Scorpions.

Maybe theres a design flaw in their LS version???? Any personal data on this or are you quoting hearsay about scorpions?
Search my friend. There are so many documented failures on this website alone its crazy that any vendor would even sell them. And no I was not referring to Gen 1 SBC,

Just buy one of these. That way you can check your spring pressure anytime you wish. This is a very valuable tool. I have one and the benchtop version as well.
