I would also just buy the heads or send off a set of 243 to AI and save my money for the cam and do it all at once! Those AI 243's are the ****!! That is a great Cam choice also!

Don't forget to budget for a new clutch, my LS6 clutch with 17k miles on it didn't even make it through the second pull on the dyno.

Your not gunna get full potential from the cam on stock heads either.
Of course not, unless you specifically get a cam that's made for the stock heads and nothing more.

But the whole point is which will be more beneficial and get more out of the other stock part. Depending on the cam, you can get like 80% of it's potential with stock heads. But for heads, you would probably get like 40% of their potential with the stock cam.

Obviously it would be best to get a cam matched perfectly to the new heads, but not everyone has the cash to do that and apparently he can only do one. He could more power out of a new cam with stock heads than stock cam with AFR heads.

I just finished installing a monster stage 2 in the car, now i just need to install my suspension and I can figure out which cam and heads to go with. The TSP kit looks great but I am now having a struggle between the Torquer v3 and the Street sweeper HT, doing springs every 20k does not sound like something I would like to do.

Do the cam. If you order up the cam, I'll order up a set of sets.
