Ive got a set of 6.0 rods floating pins. Question is which side faces towards the front of engine like the indication dots on the oistons do. My ls1 rods have the flat surface where throd blots up gacing forward but thesr rods look the same at quick glance. There is a nipplie on the rods mid way up the shaft of the rod tho. Thanks for any help

 

when i got mine they were installed with the nipple on the rod opposite of the dot on the piston and the dot on the piston is supposed to face to the front of the engine

 

The "tangs" all go toward the driver side of the block, with dots on pistons all facing forward if you're using all stock stuff.
