Default Missing 4 cylinders help !!!

I was just cruising yesterday and my car started missing. I have replaced plugs and wires and visually watched each coil fire. After running the car i can touch the back 2 headers on each side. The front 2 are hot on each side. So.....the back 2 cylinders on each side are dead. Any ideas?

Have access to a fuel pressure tester? I would start there. That is a very weird problem.

I'll bet you money it's a broken spring. Same thing happened to me. It was an exhaust spring on #6 which slowed the crank down enough to kill the back four cylinders

ok...I dont think its 4 cylinders. When I take off it will stumble then seems to surge into the power...but still missing. I have replaced plugs, wires, fuel filter, fuel pressure is good. Today we unplugged each injector and there was a change with each. As much as I hate to. I may take it to a shop. I can smell gas while it idling. It can damage the engine driving this way right?

please pull the valve covers before driving the car again. it only takes 20 min and could save you alot of cash. don't drive or start the car again until you pull the valve covers

I rotated the engine by hand and the valve returned to its up position. I hope there was no damage. I'm going to throw heads and springs on it and hope for the best

Glad you found it. Pull the valve up and hold it against the seat while spinning it in your fingers. That should give you an idea if it got bent
