Just want to run some temps pressures and RPMs by you guys and get some opinions. I don't think I have a problem just want to see where I compare.

Stock longblock other than cam with 108k miles
Using castrol edge 10w-30

Cold Idle:
Oil temp guage pegged on 100*
38 psi

Hot idle:
Oil temp at 180*
32 psi

Hot Cruising:
Oil temp at 180*
38-40 psi @1900 rpm

Max Temp Idle:
Oil temp at 225*
30 psi

Max temp Cruising:
Oil temp at 225*
34-36 psi @1900 rpm

PSI jumps up to 65-70 under full throttle/6000 rpm so I know im safe. It is the stock oil pump so Im thinking this seems fairly normal. Just wondered what everyone else was seeing. I would like so soon get a new pump for it. Thanks for any experience

 

i have the same issue. my pressure even drops to around 25 sometimes the longer i sit and idle

 

I don't really see it as a problem. Thats plenty of pressure. Just wanted to be sure the guys on stock oil systems saw the same results. Thanks for the reply!
