Need help to pick a cam
Need help to pick a cam This cam going into a 96 2dr Tahoe . I drive this thing on weekend and evenings .. Some track time and more street time then anything.. What cam do you think would be best for the heavy suv(4000 lbs.).. I was think of the Texas speed 228 cam ..
List of mods so far
5.3 bored out to 3.905
Mahle 2relf top piston +4
Eagle h beam rods
42 lbs. injeators
Ls6 intake
317 heads milled .040 = 66cc
Dubl roller timing chain
As of now i have 2400 - 2600 rev max stall
411 gears
.040 head gasket
Not bought yet.

I wonder ho this cam would respond in a 347 .. The only reason I ask is it show to be for a 4.8 or 5.3
