Thermal Images of LS1 engine Thought you guys would like these.
Isn't directed to anyone on this board. Internet genius thought the photos were photochopped, this was the photographers response
More proof they are not fake
Take a guess at what this is

Those are ****** sweet! You can tell the difference in intake temps between the first photo (intake is purple) and the one with the 'bird' in it (intake is orange). Shows the intake does heat up quite a bit. Good to chill between runs.

Actually I'm the one who took them, thanks for the kudos. As of last week, Flir Systems has some cameras priced as low as $10,000, the one I used is an old Agema 550 I use at work (I'm a refinery inspector) and it cost $50,000 new.

,the intake does get hot. One person did get it right, its just a matter of time.Omar is trying to see if he can get video
