Default lq4 questions

ok so i totalled my 04 silverado with an lq4 so i pulled it to build it and swap into my 2000 camaro. it had 160000 miles all from me on the highway. i only ran fully synthetic oil and babied it. wen i pulled the heads i was very pleased to see that it looked amazing still has the factory cross hatching. i will post pics soon to prove it. now the question i think i might just do bearings and rings no boring would that be a good idea?

You will want to run a hone in and out of the bores a couple times to break any glaze and help the new rings seat

ya im definatley going to hone it. still cant believe the condition of it. my friend bought an lq4 from a junk yard and it only had 80000 and it was in terrible shape on the inside. i plan to do a stock bottom end and a front mount turbo
