Just had motor rebuilt! Please Help

I had the car apart all weekend trying to figure this deal out! And only thing i could really notice is that all rockers were torqued too tight and that only one of the oil gully on the rocker werent as wet as all the others. I checked every push rod, looked at all rockers, and double checked everything when reassembling. All rockers torqued to 22 now. And on the rocker that looked liked it wasnt getting oil, That was the one that was wayy too tight. After retorquing and added lil bit of Lucus oil stabilizer, I couldnt get the noise to come back. Is there a reason why only one out of all the rockers appears to not be getting enouigh oil?

Ok so the noise is still there so I pulled vc and cranked the car. Oil was hardly coming out of rockers. A few flowed more than others but other than that theirs hardly any oil getting to the top. Lifters? Oil pump? Which direction should I go in?

I broke it down to the oil pump bc every since the engine was built the oil gauge had been fluctuating abnormally. Is there a difference in oil pumps as far as the bolt holes for the pickup tube the bolts to the pump. If i'm not mistaken there was only 1 bolt holding it on. I will have the pump off tomorrow, to check and see if the o ring is messed up.

When you say the oil pressure gauge is fluctuating abnormally - what do you mean? What kind of oil pump are you running? What readings are you getting at cold idle? hot idle? WOT?

If the O-ring was pinched then I would imagine that the oil pressure would be pretty low. If you're going to go through with changing the oil pump - I would recommend getting a ported LS6 oil pump. I would also recommend picking up some Redline Assembly Lube <- lube the new O-ring up with this before you place it on the pickup tube and once you get everything aligned the pickup tube should slip right in. Since this job is pretty involved - you don't want to have to do things twice. I would pick up 2 O-rings and practice with one to get the feel of it slipping into the pump. This way you are 110% sure everything is good to go.

Also keep in mind that you may swap the oil pump out and the issue may still not be fixed and end up being with the lifters. So be prepared - the fact that you are saying that multiple rockers are not getting oil says that the either of these parts could be the culprit. If you end up needing new lifters make sure you soak and let them sit in oil the night before the install. Good luck with everything.

Was only 1 to begin with.
U can get a tube "girdle from BRP. That will hold the tube from both bolts..About $20.
