what cam + 150 shot on stock bottom end...
Im planning on buying a cam, keeping stock heads, and spraying a 125-150 shot. I've looked at some things like a hotcam, a low lift Comp Cam (218/224 .527 .534 114 lsa), or a TR split pattern (224/227 .563 .569 114 lsa)
price is a concern im on a tight budget...from what ive seen on stock heads the hotcam can make some impressive numbers with tuning and boltons (375+ rwhp) and is a good spray cam. ive seen some stories of ~400 rwhp with full boltons on stock heads with a hotcam.
would it be safer to spray a hotcam with its low lift more than a tr with lift in the .560's? im looking for about ~500 rwhp on the spray, cam, and full boltons. it looks like that is possible with just a hotcam and a 125-150 shot with full boltons.
my car made 330/346 with basically just a lid/cutout/free mods through an a4.

Dyno numbers are for queersheds, slap a fat *** Yank SS3800 in there, full bolt on's and a 150 shot and you should be able to hit 10's... or come VERY close....
