Very true! its a 383 stroker with 10.5 compression stock ported heads with some "ok" aftermaket springs http://schneidercams.com/6700-16valvespringset.aspx and 7.400 pushrods and aftermarket valves. It has a fastx setup 90mm manifold 90mm tb, Longtube headers 3 1/2 in exhaust all the way back. stock fuel system (Upgrade coming soon) its a 6 Speed, stock gearing in rear, running 275/45/17...

If you "hear" too many things, you should seek professional help. What is lacking in your system is gears in the differential. Stock is way too high for the cam's operating range.

Exactly. There are some great sponsors out there and gurus that can get you where you need to be. Next cam I spec, I def will be consulting a few different people.

Technology is always changing.

How about an G5x3 (114 lsa) camshaft from LG and a set of Stg II or Stg III LS6 heads for a 383 from Livernois,TSP or any other vendor on here ? I'm sure with those mods and of course good tune , you can have pretty good street manners and alot of kick-*** power when you need it. Just a thought.
