231/237 cam only numbers?
Also, what are you guys getting out of it with tuning?
I prefer numbers through a M6 car - stock gearing.
Thanks
I chose the TSP231/237 'cause it seemed like it would be the better of the two for spray (if I ever went that route), and because it was making great numbers when paired with Stage II heads (not that the TR230 wouldn't also).
Although the TR230 has lower lift #'s, the lobe profile is very aggressive. The TSP231/237's lobes are less aggressive than those of Comp's XE grinds, so despite the high lift, the less aggressive lobes aren't so bad on the springs.
All in all, both cams are great, they just go about achieving similar results with different methods of doing so.
I probably will go with the 231/237 - I'm just reassuring myself it's the cam I want. I'm a broke student and can't afford to go swapping cams so I want this one to work the first time.
