There seems to be a shortage everywhere. I bought a SLP Timing set from Speed, Inc., because Tom wasn't sure when the Rollermaster sets would be in. I had had one ordered for a month! I had to pay a little more for the SLP one, but a bird in hand is worth two in the bush! Ha!

It seems like this time of year everything gets scarce. manufacturers can't keep up with demand.

I ordered a bunch of parts a couple weeks ago from Brian at TSP and he told me that my rollmaster double would be 2 - 3 weeks backordered.

Yeah back in summer when I ordered my H/C package from TSP the chains were on backorder for weeks making my order sit. I just went ahead and paid the extra for the SLP chain. Sometimes you gotta pay more to play sooner.

TSP told me ealier this week that it would be about 5 more weeks before they got them in. So I went with the SLP one also.

you know, you would figure that if this item has been backordered in the past, then you would keep a good stock of them..hell i run a busness myself, and i have loads of stuff that i only have to order every 90 days because i know the manufacturer could backorder me at any time, not to mention that the item doesnt utilize much space for storage, and theres no shelf life on a timing chain. how much is the chain from SLP? and what do they call it, is it a rollmaster?
