TH400 is definitely a tough tranny, just gear accordingly (4.56 or 4.71) where
as the 4l 60 can use 4.10 or 4.30.

You should stop giving advice. You do not need a lot of compression to run tens. Also, the trex is far from lazy. The TRex is one of the strongest drag racing cams ever designed for a 346. Just because its not ground on EPS lobes doesn't mean its lazy. Seriously, people needs to stop with this "EPS or go home " bullshit.

I agree
Look at the cam only fast list
It used to be all trex and an ms4 and a vindicator

Everyone knows eps makes awesome cams, but a trex is proven to be one of the best performing cams at the strip, why would you steer someone away from it

TREX is on Compcam XER lobes with a variance rate of 49. These ramps are faster than EPS ramps. So "Lazy" it is definitely not. Quite the contrary, it is "violent".
Flycut pistons and milled heads compliment Trex very nicely.
Another similar grind is the "AZPS-03" from Ed Curtis.

another vote for the TRex, have one in my DD now. Car is a bolt-on, cam only car, stock 853 heads. This cam is very livable with a good tune, the bucking/surging is not bad and very predictable.
