Texas speed guys I am working on my heads/cam swap and I just have a few basic questions.
Stg. 1 ls6 heads with a tv2 cam kit from tsp.
How well do the ls6 springs hold up should I get stronger springs?
Is the correct size push rods? 7.350?
Which timing chain should I get?
My car has the basic bolt ons such as long tubes, catback, ls6 intake, and a lid. I dont set dyno goals but I am just wondering what I should expect on a dyno jet. Thanks

LS6 springs will not be strong enough for that cam.
You need to measure for correct pushrod length. I can throw out any number but guessing may not be good enough.
The LS2 chain should be fine to use with that setup.
You should see 400+rwhp.

Ok thanks. This is my first heads/cam swap so I just wanted to double check everything. Glad I asked.

I dont think im going to change the ud pulley. I still have the stock tb and I was thinking of getting it ported. My car right now is at 340rwh.

We alway recommend the PRC spring kit with our camshaft packages. do not use the ls6 standard springs with your camshaft.
If you let us know the serial number on the heads we can figure out what they are milled & give you a close bet on what pushrods you need. That being said we always recommend checking the p/v with a pushrod length checker.

jason my buddy found this cam in his new house and was wondering if it was one of yours since it had a set of pac 1218 spring kit next to it, thanks

My clutch went out immediately after my H/C install. You can get a Diamond stage 2 for $100 more when they are on sale....much better clutch in every aspect and good for 600hp.
