a/c compressor alternative?

a/c compressor alternative? hi all...
ive gone through two a/c compressors in the last 4 years. First one just seized and the second has a bad clutch. Unfortuneately, the clutch assembly is not replaceable and i will have to buy a whole new unit. Since the external dimensions of the 4.8 to 6.2 blocks are virtually all the same, i was wondering if anyone knew if there was a compressor that i could get off of a different motor combo that would fit my lq9 block? part numbers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance....

Hello , how are You today ? I'm not sure where You live but in Phoenix, Az there used 2 b a place that sold good used compressor clutches 4 $5 but I was recently looking 4 that business and it looks like they closed . If I were You I would get Yourself either a good used or a new R-4 compressor and fabricate some brackets to mount it . Unless You are not mechanical ,,,,,,,,,
