Checking PTV confusion
Ok, I read a thread about checking PTV clearence with a sold lifter.
My question....How do you use your stock pushrod? If my pushrods are measured with zero lash + .05-.08 pre-load, with a solid lifter, my valves will be pushed open that much reducing the measured clearence.
Does that make sense? Seems to do this right, you need different (Shorter)pushrods?

bingo that is your p-rod length desired.
Sometimes I use 2 size p-rods if the cam is dual lobed. So intake will be different than exhaust.
