Just installed Cam
Edit: When I get home here in a bit I will pull the covers and check lash. Could they be too long? They are non-adjustable Jesel Shaft Mount rockers. Which ran fine before the cam swap. The only thing changing would be valve springs, cam, and pushrods.... That would indicate cam has a smaller base circle? But, Speed Inc said to use the 7.4's. What should lash be? .060?
Rule out one thing at a time I guess..

2nd: Did you recess (with a dremel) the area behind on the rocker on the heads, there is not enough clearance back there on stock heads for the Jesel rockers. (This is the area directly behind the rocker). I used aftermarket valve covers, and dremelled the area clear behind each rocker - PITA.
3rd: What preload did you use/how did you setup your adjustable Jesel's? Here is a video of mine, mods in signature (I'm having cam sensor issues - looks to be cam related though).

Edit: Don't know why the video is sideways. Sorry.

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
As stated, LS1s with a cam make considerable valve train noise, the last video seems like quite an improvement over the first.
Lastly, how long did the engine sit for before being fired up?
The last two videos were from the same start. Usually I have to let it sit over night
I would pull the rockers, get a pushrod checker, and check with Jesel for proper installation to attain your desired preload. This will quiet your valvetrain considerably.
