Default Redline ?

Getting LS1 PAC 1518 Racing Springs , for my valvetrain swap and wanted to raise my redline with an HP tuners that I have acess to. What kind of redline can I safely raise my car to? My car is mostly stock : Cat back straightpipe, SLP lid with K&N filter, 4.11 gear ratio, and 160 deg thermostat, and slp fan control switch. Putting in pushrods (stock size) Scorpion 1.8 Rockers, LS1 PAC 1518 Racing Springs and Comp cam Retainers and Locks.

If your still running your stock cam I might raise it 100-200 rpm max, the stock cam is really starting to drop off before factory redline.

When you are WOT, you can feel the power starting to die out just before the stock rev limit or shift point... it is set that way for a reason (Peak HP/TQ ends just before redline) and I don't think that you are getting any more peak HP/TQ out of it after that point without helping the motor accept more A/F (Cam, Heads, Tune)... Strengthening your motor to accept these mods is definitely a good start, but I don't think that tuning your computer to accept a few hundred more RPM will help a stock breathing motor.
