Heads on a stock bottom end?
How much will a stock bottom end hold up against? Would there be any issues with raising compression on a stock ls1? Would a stock ls1 with +100,000 miles be able to handle stg 2.5or 3 heads (ls6 or 5.3) from tsp? I know it depends largely on the car in particular, but all opinions are appreciated, thanks guys.

Absolutely not going to be a problem if the car has been/is being maintained properly. There are countless guys on here with raised compression on their high mileage stock shortblock LS1's putting down strong numbers and they hold up just fine.
