No you can not run 6s or 7s in the 1/4 mile with the money you have.

Um no, is this a joke cuz u cant be serious.

You need a $5000+ shortblock just to be holding the type of boost you ate wanting to throw at it.

O.P you shoulda just bought a corvette.

if you have all that cash then the better platform wouldve been something better, like a vette.

your budget, (assuming the 55k-65k is real) allows you many supierior options.

vette, (beaten old lady's DD ) porshe, supra, etc

pro stock cars in the mid-6 second range right? Can't see that happening with anything close to a stock looking car.

Pro Stock cars are naturally aspirated and make far less horsepower than would be possible with a forced induction engine build. That being said, they are damn quick...

Hell at least that actually had some degree of thought put in it. It was good in theory, but not to great for real world expectations.

I 100% believe in you. You can go 6 seconds in the 1/4 with that kind of money. You actually may only make it 5 seconds down the 1/4 until the entire bottom end will explode and I will hopefully get to see the video of your $50,000 going into flames on Youtube.

Go for it!

Way to insult a new member, professor. A simple, polite explanation would have been more appropriate, given his status. Not everyone has your high level of experience and vast knowledge. The dude asked a legitimate question, especially if he's accustomed to hearing how easy it is to make gobs of power from an LS-1 engine.

1000+ HP and only 2300lb cars. So "far less" relative to what lol. I see what you're saying but judging by the numbers it would be an amazing if not far fetched achievement for the OP to pull off.

Everyone is looking at this from the wrong point of view. Of course he can do a quarter mile that fast. If you get up to 130 mph and then clock the amount of time it takes you to travel a quarter mile, then bobs your uncle............................................. ......... 6-7 second quarter mile. Lulz.
