Should be able to turn the crank .010 under but have your machinist inspect the block

Answer this question correctly, and we'll tell you how much your local machine shop charges for labor.

Yeah crank needs to be turned and I would have the block checked to make sure its still good. Price is going to depend on where you take it.

Oh no he didnt!! HA!

Classic advice for the boards, I personally was moved by the rope question!

Seriously though, machine work in Oklahoma City is cheaper than New York plus the chics have bigger ****. Call your local machine shop for a quote. If your in Oklahoma I would suggest Folks Machine shop in Norman, OK.

might want to find the cause of the spun bearing as well

lack of oil?
lack of servicing?
excessive heat?
failed oil pump?
failed relief springs?

additionally if these bearings are spun check tolerances and condition of the rest of the motor

probably a good thing they aren't included, at least you know the condition of parts you put into the motor

That's a good bit of info. I'd speculate that the prior owner botched a cam install and/or installed the oil pump wrong which caused the bearing failure.

Make sure the oil passages in the block get flushed out thoroughly.
