Default LQ4 cam bearings look weird.. teardown what to replace?

stripped the motor today-- so heres where im at..
let assume mileage unknown but 150000 or so castiron heads so those are leaving..

how tight are the pistons/ring tension normally on a LS engine? this you could easily push the pistons side to side - seems like all the tension is out of the rings.

the rod and main bearings are PERFECT.. grey- no marks - etc theyre so good im almost thinking i should reuse them and resize the rods to ARP studs and change the pistons.. ?? with how sloppy the pistons were it might need a bore though..

now the cam bearings are weird.. theyre all rough- -- the lobes on the cam look fine though.. are LS cam bearings like all other V8s or do they get some issues?

if the block measures good i will just change pistons- get some AI heads and a cam- ls2 timing chain- new oilpump and stick it back together.
