You are just going to get a lot of personal opinions in here. A lot of people are running all those heads with success. I would recommend calling each company and see what they recommend for your setup. Then buy whatever one you feel fits your budget and goals the most.

its coke vs pepsi

I chose the afr 210's because of the smaller runner size, and the price was a wash with the prc's because I would have had to pay sales tax on the prc's (I live in TX).

this poll is seriously gonna end up as a "which brand do you own" thread.

after seeing how AFR dealt with a customer in the for sale section, i would advise against them based solely on customer service.

Really can't go wrong with any of them. I would call the vendors and see how well your cam is matched to the specific head.

Care to post a link to that. I've yet to see Tony Mamo be anything but helpful in several handfuls of cases and seen him go above and beyond where most would.

I have had a few hundred exchanges with Dr. Mamo and wholeheartedly endorse his customer support as out of this world good. I got a lot more service than I paid for...how often do you hear that?

But i agree with zracer, you'll know what suits you when you find it.

trickflow makes a very nice product.. I love my tfs 225's. You might ask which heads have made 500+ rwhp on a LS1 the most? I know which ones, the TFS 215's

Here's one of the most impressive LS1 dyno sheets that I've seen.

Kind of like someone asking you, "which is your favorite kid".

With that said, my vote goes with AFR. All the companies you have listed are top of the line head makers for LS engines, so you really can't go wrong.

Mast Motorsports 215cc port eleven degree is the best small bore head . It is typically 50 hp stronger at the tire then every other head, the trickflows are pretty good to "exception to the 50hp rule they were within 20hp of the mast heads on avg". by the tim you blow a bunch of $$$ into a 243 you could likely be withing striking distance of a fantastic cylinder head.

Cathedral Port 11 Degree Small Bore LS1 / LS6 CNC Assembled

there are those which are 215 cc runner. If you do a search there is a guy on ls1tech that swapped just the heads from AFRs which are a highly regarded head and picked up like 22 horse at the tire with just a head swap.

Quick Reply: which is the best?? TFS or AFR or PRC ???
