just curious of any H/C A4s are actually putting 400 to the ground...I'd like to hear your unlocked #s...please

also, can you give details on your setup
cam, heads, specific tranny, converter, rear end...all info would be appreciated.

I hit 389.5 with my setup. We are close, but not quite there.....

There is a guy in my car club that hit 400 rwhp but I'm not sure if that's locked or unlocked. I'll see if he will post here so you can get more information.

I know he has hot cam, ls6 intake, ported heads, yank tranny, 10 bolt with either 3.73 or 4.10 and a yank converter.

We've had a couple that were in the 390 rwhp range. One of them didn't even have an LS6 intake or ported TB. <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" /> Those were with GTP heads.

401rwhp unlocked: GTP Stage 2's, single pattern Comp 226 XE-R, pt4400, stock 4L60-E, stock aluminum ds, 10 bolt w/ 3.73's, TTS longtubes w/ cats, corsa, LS6 intake, and all other bolt-ons.

since then, I've added dual cutouts off of my collectors, but have not had a chance to go dyno w/ them.

I believe we dyno`d mine with the conv locked. But with my set-up I`m running really rich and my timing is low so I don`t blow the stock bottom on spray! I feel I would have gotten that unlocked. Our old G5 cam/LG head package made 408rwhp with the converter unlocked.

We are putting the G5X-2 cam in the car today and should have dyno numbers tomorrow on it.

This car as it sits now will be featured in GMHT magazine, and does 11.06 times with a 1.47, 60' time with our G2 Torque arm, and ET slicks.

Thanks for the responses....one thing I forgot to ask, which a lot of you mentioned, was exhaust...as of now I have Mac w/ORP, I wonder how much a true dual set-up would help the situation....

Lou, I assume LG will sell heads alone? without the whole package?

I just got dyno'd last week and made 410rwhp/415rwtq. Needless to say, I'm overjoyed. No dyno tricks.

I have 400 rwhp. I did it with the stuff in the sig. I also HAD a Vig3600 unlocked, thru a 12 Bolt 3:73. with stock Firehawk Rims. I am now almost complete with some new upgrades. They include a new TCS 4400 2.7str, 28# Injectors, new(different valves) and reporting polishing of the heads. I am hoping that with the LS1 edit session, and these new upgrades I can hit 410 rwhp. Just finished our A4 G5X-2 cam and head package. Still tuning, but the initial numbers with a locked converter are 435rwhp 396rwtq with a 12 bolt 4.10 rear and dumped FLP headers.

Tuning is now complete and the numbers are 435rwhp and 403 rwtq
The tuning brought up the torque at the whole bottom end. We will post the graph later.

The car was to be at Denton drag strip Sat night. but the owner opted out.

My car makes 397 SAE HP with my TR224/224-112 and AbsoluteSpeedStageII 5.7 heads,locked Yank 4400.

The car ran multiple 11.0s at 121,best 11.04/121,it has 10.9s in it on a great weather day.

I am working on a new set up,Lou Gs G5X2 cam,AbsoluteSpeedX2 heads.

I always say,"a man can't have to big of a TV or too much Horsepower".

jfm that's the setup I may run, but not as a big converter cause mine is a gonna be a daily driver and don't want the slip down low.

Yes, everything is available separately. We have the cam, double valve springs, titanium retainers, and pushrods complete for $899.

We are also working on head pricing alone. We have only one stage head package for a stock bore, and one other for a big bore.
All of our stock bore heads have 2.02/1.57 valves. The big bore valves are larger, depending on application.
Our LS1 heads flow 307 cfm @ .550, and our LS6 heads flow 314 @ .550 with a radiused inlet @ 28"
Our big block heads flow 335 cfm.

We are also going to offer Absolute Speed heads. We just ordered our first 5.3 heads from them. Jay, seems like a very knowlegable guy, and we look forward to working with him.

We have my car putting down 361 rwhp at the moment. The stage II heads(Combination Motorsports) and 12 bolt w/33 spline axles will be installed on Monday or Tuesday. We are hoping to get more than 400 under the wheels at that time.
