Default 6.0 time for more performance

I swapped in a 04 6.0 in my chevy c10 this year I have already done a texas speed 228r, hooker super comp lts, e fans, cai, Sam Miller tune, a mild 4l80e, yank 3600, 373s, but after running 13 passes on this setup, run a best 8.36 in 1/8 and 13.06 in the 1/4 on 275/ 60/15 M/t e/t streets, it time for more, this is my daily, I'd like to get in 7s in the 1/8s, i'm thinking for now a under drive pulley, and nitrous

With those two additional mods planned you should have no problem dipping into the 7s. 100 shot should do the trick without a problem. Make sure to put a slightly colder plug in and pull a little timing out to keep you safe.

Seems to me you should already be in the 7s depending on weight. What is your weight and what RPM are you shifting it? Also, post some timeslips.

I'm no for sure on the weight probably at least 4,000, I'm not exactly for sure on the shift points 6500 to 6600, also my stall is tight, the most it will stall up to is 2200 before it moves

dang a whole second quicker with just a larger cam, different heads, bigger stall, and lower gears, I thing will be in the high 12s easy if I get the stall re stalled, I'm only able to brake stall it to 2 grand and the flash stall is not much higher

Heads where in stock form. I had a yank 3600 but had it reworked by another place . They restalled it to a 3600-3800 but it will only foot brake to 2500 . U should have your tuner push it a little more

I called yank today and they said they can't loosen the converter its a yank pro truck multi disk, I was told from yank to check the flash stall in 2nd gear at 20mph and punch it only flashed to 2500 what it seemed like, the tuner worked with the stall and he even told me the stall was tight. they said I could trade for a pro truck, or would be better to get a ss series converter, or just go with a different brand

BTW, have you considered trying a Revmaxx converter? not pricey and I hear they are pretty good and I also have a custom 3000 stall I got from them about 3 years ago...havent had one problem out of it..flashes to 3000-3200 every rip.

What's your idle sound like? A friend/customer wants his 04 ss pickup to sound healthy and of course run better and I'm not so sure about cam selection. Did you have to flycut the pistons for that cam?

The stall you are swapping to will help your car perform a lot better by getting it into it's peak torque output instantly.

It will also work well with nitrous too.

I think with a small 100-150 shot this new stall and some thought to traction modifications that you would have no problem getting the car into the bottom 7's and I think with a couple other modifications and a slightly larger shot(200) it just might go 11's.

If you'd like you can call me at Tick M-F 8-5 and discuss further.

On stock compression under a 150 shot I always use a BR7EF. Anything larger and I begin to look to a B8EFS, but the BR7's will work up to a 200 shot.

Over 200hp B8EFS is no discussion and is what should be used.
