Every LS1/6 OEM piston is made by Mahle?? 99L744"+" why the "+" in 2003???? Looking at some 2003 LS6 motors, the pistons all have the coating on the skirts, both 2002 and 2003 motors
Mahle is the OEM supplier on ALL LS1/6 pistons? 1997-2004?
Markings on inner piston skirt: 99L744 on 2002's, 99L744+ on 2003's
Anyone know what the + is? it's not an oversize piston as the + is found on a few 2003's I have seen(they are not reman or rebuilt GM's)
