Predator Z,

Your custom 230/228 cam that was spec for RMTT is the only custom grind that just made ridiculous power. All these other custom cams i see guys pimpin arent really that more impressive than a typical off the shelf cam.

But yes, RMTT setup is one ridiculous setup.

Also El Toro is not a drag cam. It was designed as a strong street cam, more for Vettes than f-bodies (due to exhaust difference). It does well under certain parameters but not for what you are looking for IMO.
Thank you and will do!

Chrs1313 went 10.66 cam only on 230/230, still one of the fastest small cams (small compared to all the other contenders)

What were his specs on the cam? The same as your 230/230 cam?

Just out of curiosity, why do you say it isn't a drag cam?

A full fledged drag cam would have better top end power. El Toro is more of an undercurve cam, kinda an all around cam. Perfect for street for which i designed it for. It works well in the 1/8th and tend to flatten a bit on the back 1/2. Still capable of 125mph on stock cubes cam only. A full fledged drag cam would be more in the 128mph range.

Yeah, when he felt ready to go faster and quicker. But it was bigger than the 230/230, he did heads as well and is into the 9s now. Chris is meticulous and does things right. His father has a nice ride as well.

Ok, that makes sense. I'm gonna be running 1/8th only. Do you think the cam will be holding me back much for now?

There is more than just cam to be quick in the 1/8th. Your stall is very important as well as is car weight and your ability to plant that power in a quick 60'

Well I understand that. I've been racing for a long time, just not a LS car. What I meant was, with all else being equal and well sorted out, I'm not gonna be leaving TOO much on the table with this cam right? I'm already thinking about a 4000-4400 stall instead of the 3600, even though the 3600 feels good on the street.
