Help, block at the machine shop -wrong parts?

Help, block at the machine shop -wrong parts? Long and short, my engine is in the machine shop. I sent the GM cam bearings with it. Per GM catolog the 1,2,4,5 bearings are the same and the 3rd is different.
The shop called and said that the number 4 will not take the bearing that is on 1,2, or 5.
What is going on......I dont want to tie them up and I want to continue.
please help!!!!!

There was a second design of cam bearing that had #'s 1 and 5 with an ID 2.346 to 2.348. Sounds like he may have one bearing installed in the wrong place and has one larger bearing left over and it won't go in.

god what a goof it is a 1998 chevrolet camaro ls1 block.
they won't take it comment is because it won't fit.
I sent them what gm catalog said the number 3 is different all the others are the same

According to the GM catolog by the VIN of the car it came from, the 1,2,4,5 are all the same part number.
The 3rd is the only one different. I was told that the 4th is smaller hole in the block than the others, BUT then i wonder how did the 5th "larger" bearing go in?
