Default Torquer v4 or MS4 need advice

Hey guys need some advice. Im having trouble deciding between the torquer v4 and MS4 cam. Heres what i have so far.
98 z28 auto with rpm built transmission with 3600 stall.
Has 3.42 rear end from m6 car.
Full exhaust with egr delete and smog delete.
Has ls6 intake manifold with ported throttle body.
tuned by frost.
Car does 13.4 at 6000 elevation.

With my cam upgrade i will be installing a fast 102 with throttle body bigger injectors
Spings and pushrods
Ls7 lifters
Ported 243 heads.
Oil pump
Rocker truion upgrade.
New fuel pump.

Cars is used as dd on the weekend and is beat on at least one night a week. Mostly highway pulls but i do take it to the track once a month. I built my suspension around a street strip combo With ajustable coils up front and bmr Springs out back. Hooks up good.

Tuning after the cam install would be done via hp tuners data log then sending it to texas speed.

Leaning more towrds the torquer v4 but like the topend from the ms4. Whats your opinions.

With the 3.42's I'd do the V4

What's the specs on the v4? I know the ms4 really wants a lot of gear and big convertor to work good. Also I wouldn't go with the ls7 lifters. I would try and budget for some nicer ones. I've just personally seen a few sets of the ls7's lose their springs and **** with high ramp cams.

Id take the tsp torquer 2 232/234 or 233/239..to go with that 3600 stall.

Im running the 233/239. Its the biggest i would run.

For the MS3 to shine in my experience you need a big gear and converter matched with a light car. Heads and Intake help even more so. It's a cam that definitely needs all the supporting mods in order to run right.

If you can get your car in the 2900-3100lbs ran I'd go with it but there are better options out there. At least TSP now offers this cam with lobes that are more street friendly.

I say the V4 is the better option for you out of the two

Torquer v4 specs
Texas Speed Torquer V4 231/234 .629/.615 Camshaft

The car weighs 3250 with out driver.
Cat scale

What lifters do you recommend?

With the stall and gears I'd run the Torquer V4. As far as the lifters, if you do not wish to run the LS7 lifters then I would recommend the Morel 5315 drop in lifters. Give us a call at 512-863-0900. We would be happy to set up a full package for you.
