If you have the tools, it shouldn't be that hard, really. I think there is a great write-up on www.ls1howto.com (or something like that).

I had a local shop do my cam, springs, p-rods, oil pump and double roller for 300 out the door. The other shop I used did my heads for 500.00 which was too much in my opinion, if I had more time to work on my car I would have done it myself.

Mti wanted around 1000, and then another 500 for the optional tune that they claim gives them the right to claim the extra HP proven on dyno runs from there cams.

I just paid 600.00 for head and cam install. Come over here to LA and you can pay that.

I do. I work to mod my car and I go to school so I can get a better paying job to mod my car even more. Sounds like a plan to me right?
