I need to scan my car better to know the IAC but the LTFT looks "decent".
I will need to put more time into scanning it. Tuner is pretty far and its tough to just bring it back. It was tough enough to get the ******* thing there and back in the first place. Guess I need to buy my own tuning suit.
Thank you for the info

^ Im leaning toward efi live.

Ok heres a question...should I be getting ANY cruise control effects at all? I put the set screw back more where it dosent idle to high but still will do its cruise control/little bucking/surging around 1500rpm.

I'd back it off a little bit more, you shouldn't be getting ANYcruise control effects at all.

its a balance of fueling and throttle cracker to reduce that part throttle buck..........light throttle cruise timing should be around 27-30* fueling stft's should be within 3%...........car shouldn't buck with a cam what small, excissive throttle cracker will cause the cruise control................usually a way to cover up an half assed fuel table

id go with efi live more tuning ability

Thanks. When I tried backing it off more a week ago that when it would stall more and the bucking/surging becomes more apparent. Ill try backing it off again till I dont get any cruise control effect and see what it does again.

Yep, iv heard a cam this small shouldnt buck/surge.
So your saying I have the cruise control effect on my car to cover up a half assed tune?...because the car did have the cruise effect when I test drove it. First time driving a h c i setup so I didnt know what to expect AND was led to believe its normal.
I cant read % on my guage. Its just in #s. The split at most is around 6 but most of the time is within 0-5.
Thanks for your help

they require more air at coast to be smooth....to a point.....with a cam that size it shouldn't be bad at all...usually if there is part throttle buck due to fuel/timing issues excessive air at coast will mask it.........but cause the cruise control effect, if its really excessive thats probably whats going on

Should definitely be no cruise control effect IMO. I have a much bigger cam I think and have none

If you mess with that tb blade screw as stated it will send things awry

Good luck

When you say cruise, do you mean you take your foot off the gas: for example around 40mph and itll drive it self?

If you are talking to me then yes its like cruise control.
If your talking to ltx I think he means just cruising around at 1400-1500

Backed out the set screw more and got rid of the cruise control effect. But while trying to get out of my uphill driveway it stalled. Tried starting it a half dozen times and ended up stalling everytime. Only thing that got it to stay running was giving it 1200-1500 rpm throttle for maybe 30 seconds after starting. After the car was out of the driveway and warmed up it ran pretty good. Almost like stock minus the little bit of surge at low rpm cruise. Still have to be careful in reverse...have to give it very light throttle or it will stall.
Car really wasnt bad tonight.
