Not sure which section to post in but anyways. building an ls1 for my 69 with stock 799 heads. 1 3/4 long tube headers, ls6 intake, t56 trans, 3.73 gears. I want to hit the 400 hp mark at the wheels. what cam would you guys recommend? nothing crazy, i want it very streetable.

 

Futral motorsports F-2. Very nice streetable cam. Lumpy idle and pulls amazing from 3600-6700 rpm!

 

What is your definition of very streetable?

 

Means it comes off idle fast, no hiccups, crusies great with no problems, and makes great power. Whats YOUR definition of very streetable? To me I cant find a reason not to run a cam of that size on the street.
