Wrong oil weight?

Default Wrong oil weight?
So I changed my oil yesterday with pennzoil ultra added 5w30 5 quarts and 1 quart was 5w20 didn't notice till it was already in. Should I be concerned should I top off with 5w40?

You'll be fine. Next oil change just make sure you grabbed all the same stuff.

It will be slightly thinner, but not something to worry about. If more than 50% of the oil in there was the w20 kind then yes I would worry, but not when only 20% is like that.

By the way, these cars take 5.5 quarts. You should add another half quart.

I run 10w40 with no issues so far.

It won't hurt anything... If it bothers you, just run that oil for 500 or so, seafoam the crankcase, and change again.

What you have there is still solidly thicker than M1 10w-30
