El Toro Cam ???
I currently have a ls1 5.7 crate motor that was completed in 2004. I believe it has a hot cam in it and for sure has an ls6 intake with stock ls1 TB. I have recently acquired a set of ls6 heads that are cnc ported and polished with stainless valves and good springs specking out at 65cc after a good 5 angle valve job. I also have a fast lsxr102 intake and 102 Tb that I plan on adding during the cam swap. I will be doing other things like timing chain and oilpump upgrades and new ls7 lifters also. OH ya some ARP headstuds and rod bolts also.
With all these things added will the ElToro cam be a good choice? My other considerations are the Gm showroom stock cam or a TSP228r.
Im looking for good strong torque and bottom end that will also pull up to the safe rev limit (6000). The car may also get a progressive NOS shot of 100 just because i have it available.
Current dyno puts out 298 hp and 291 tq @5700rpm
Thank you for any input
i have had really good luck recently with their 234/238 .600 cam in your case id do it on a 112*....dont be afraid to throw some duration at it with those heads

Flow data intake is going to be a fast 102 and 102 TB
Heads basically a stage 2 ls6 head with 2.02 and 1.60 stainless valves and a good valve job. Don't have any real #s.
