Where are you finding 243/799 Heads?

Hey all, I was just wondering where you were finding new 243/799 heads? I know Scoggin Dickey has some in stock once in a while, but by and large, they are scare to find new on the shelf.

So, am I stuck scouring ebay or the forum for used heads? I'm asking because I'm thinking of sending a set in to be CNC/hand ported and the porter doesn't have a ready supply of them.

Any help would be appreciated.

I know AI did last time I talked to them. About $800 if I remember right....

Found my 243's laying in a pile of 5.3's. $250 for the whole L-33. A truck rebuilding shop close to the house. There's an iron 5.3 there to w/243's. I could probably get it cheaper.

243 Heads

There have been several sets for sale on the parts classifieds. I have a set taken off of a LS6 crate engine. Have PRC .650 double spring kit installed. These are like new. Installed by GM but never run.
