Default White Smoke out the exhaust pipe

I have a 2000 camaro ls1 6 speed the motor has about 150k. Here's what happened,
I was going to race my friend on the freeway I was going 80 then down shifted to 3rd as soon as I did that my car started to die, it was the alternator I changed that then I took it for a test drive then it was shooting hella white smoke out the tail pipe. I know it's burning oil, but my oil pressure still goes up when i drive it doesn't drop lower than normal as long as there is oil in it I can drive it like normal just smoking a lot. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

White smoke is generally water/coolant. Check water level in the radiator to see if it has dropped. Make sure it is cold though. Lol

STOP driving it!!! Drain your oil if it looks milky brown. Then you blew a headgasket. The more you drive it the worse you are gonna tear something up.
