Yeah this whole weekend consisted of tearing and reassembling this car. I usually get down to business when I work on things. As far as exhaust goes, I'm running TSP 3" true duals with bullet mufflers and Pacesetter 1 3/4 headers. The valvetrain noise is a little loud but I'm 100% sure it is the roller rockers. I have comp pro magnums and I set them at 1/2 turn past zero lash. You cant hear them with the hood closed but I think I need to give them another 1/2 turn to give a little more preload after its done. I should have a dyno graph tomorrow. He is doing all of the drivablity and getting the thing in square 1 today and then doing the tweaking for power tomorrow on the dyno. It is being tuned on a Dynojet LC which is equivalent to a mustang Dyno I believe since they both use a eddy current brake. One thing that sucks about up here where I live is that were at 5000ft elevation and its been hot and dry. I don't know how well the dyno will compensate for that. When I had my baseline dyno with just headers and lid (factory tune) it put down 323rwhp.

LOL! I wanna do a custom comp cam with LSL lobes. 235/243 .621/.624. i think it would work great cam only, and really come to life, with some ported 243's or some Trick Flow's... but i need to get some more cash first..
.... You plan on taking it to the track anytime soon????

Bwolf if you ask for the corrected numbers it shouldn't read low, but 323 for headers exhaust and a lid is pretty low numbers where most auto's make 340rwhp with those modifications.
I spoke with my technicians and they both said to try another half turn if you're going by turns. 1 full turn is where they both said you should end up.
I can also get you set-up with either a N20 Outlet kit or a NX kit as we are dealers for both.

Yeah those were corrected. It was still on factory tune which I think was low. It is on a dyno jet LC though. The correction factor was 1.19 which I think it should be higher. Isn't a rule of thumb 5% power loss per 1000feet of elevation? This at 5000 ft it should be 1.25?

Its still at the shop.
He is getting the car tuned up good enough to where it runs and drives well and then I'm going to run the car home quick and re-adjust those rockers so where I'm 1 full turn past zero lash. I read somewhere that 1/2 turn is roughly .030" preload and the ls7 lifters need somewhere around .060". I'm going to re-adjust them before he starts hammering on it on the dyno. My mind will feel a little more at ease...lol
Martin: Send me a PM with some kit links and prices if you would.

I'll get some info together on the kits and send it to you how is that? And thank you for the compliments.
Just substitute the V.1 Polluter for whatever cam it is you intend to run or want to run or we can do a custom cam for 20 bucks more.
