3.90 gears, ram air duct (check SSRA), and possibly getting the converter restalled a bit higher. What are you shifting at and what does your launch technique consist of? should be able to improve on that 1.7x by a good bit

I put the car in drive and stall it to 2800 and let it eat! I think my lack of gear, heavy weight car/driver, and torque managment are keeping the car from running the number I am looking for!

You foot brake it to 2800?

Only ones I can use will be the cutting under the air box and the descreening of the maf. But these type of mods are what I am looking for!!

You can footbrake it to 3200 on the street?! That must be one hell of a loose converter! Try launching from a lower RPM. I was launching at ~22-2400 and dropping it down to 1800 allowed the converter to hit the tires harder initially. Just my .02

I wouldnt descreen the MAF, the free ram air has its place, but since your trying to drop your time .3 Id go with a true ram air, like the Chris 1313

Tune, UD Pulley, Ram Air, Electric Water Pump, Cutout, Gears, Suspension, More Weight Reduction. Do you have to run the stock intake manifold?

The guy I quoted is on the money, although the electric water pump is not a good bang for the buck, expensive for only a little gain. You have a LS1 intake manifold, right? If so, would get a LS6 intake manifold (externally nobody will notice the difference and it can be worth 8-10 hp). Port the throttle body and do the TB coolant bypass mod. UD pulley will free up 5-8 hp. Probably a lot more weight reduction that can be done as has been said. The biggest gain would be a good tune, you are leaving a lot on the table with a stock tune. Good luck.

My car is a 01 so it already has the LS6 intake. And I already have a Bo white TB and coolant bypass done. I have contimplated a electric water pump. But that can wait till I need one. I think my plan right now will be more weight reduction, UD pulley, ram air and a aggressive tune up! We shall see what happens. Gears will come when I install the 9"

1.8 rockers
UDP
Ram air
Adjustable Shocks and LCA's
Torque arm
Rear bumper support (bumper shouldn't become a parachute at your speeds.)
front kirky's
remove the sound deadening from under your stock carpet.

Start there

I normally beer people away from 1.8 rockers, but this time I agree, I think they would really help...just be sure to upgrade the valve springs at the same time.
