Oil pressure at 10 psi?
I just changed my oil pump to a slp hi vol and it ran fine fore 20 miles or so and now it's at 10ps1. So I pulled the pump again that's good and the o ring is perfect. Any ideas?id like to drive the car before winter time but I have to figure this out

U double checked ur oil pump o ring so that checks out, Im thinking te weight of the oil is affecting it.. Another thing would be your oils pressure sending unit.. Think be bad or going out. It's like 30$ I'm sure at any auto parts

i already changed the sending unit and even hooked up a mechanical gauge to the oil pan on the drivers side and it read the same. Im going to put it back together and maybe move on to the barbell. Good idea or no?

98 car? I've seen the early design barbells get pushed out and cause an internal oil pressure leak, the heavier oil probably didn't help that out.
Another idea, did you change the oil after the pump replacement or more recently? I'm wondering if any debris caused further damage? Metal flakes in oil or stuck to a magnetic drain plug is usually a sign that worse things are happening. :-/
