Are you checking p t v clearance or measuring push rods?

I was wandering the same thing. Was the heads milled?What cam did you go with?

Did mine June of last year, it was a great learning experience but working on 4th gens sucks!

Heads are milled 61 cc. A 226 234 113 lsa .600 .600

Just curious, what was your clearance on piston to valve?

If my measuring was correct i got .066/.083 if i remember correctly...

Well guys i just did an hour or so worth of uploading and typing on the.rest of this build for it to get deleted and kicked off... Guess thats what i get for doing this on a phone haha when i get the mood back ill do it again..

Dam, I'll prob have to cut then, 59cc heads Sith 224/230 cam. I did go back with the factory head gaskets though, .051. You?

Hmm, I wonder what 2cc of milling is as far as clearance goes?? I'm going to be close, sounds like your numbers were pretty tight too though

In for results! I have the same cam except on a 112 lsa. I also have 243s that i have been wanting to send to AI, so come on with it! Haha

In the meantime gathered more parts and the little things that i would have never thpught about i needed at the beggining of this build, my hood an bumper got finished fron paint and it was so fresh i just hung it in the man cave so i could see it everyday ha..



Torquing the head bolt down here. And of course tha epic standing in the car picture!





Test fitting the intake. Fits just right!



I wanted to just leave it like this its so damn good looking before you caver it up with miles of wiring, serpentine and plastic.



Getting tired of not having the car and just ready for it to be done so i didnt get much pictures. Just the boring stuff serpentine harness conections ect. It took me awhile for to figure stuff out cause at this point it was 11 months since i had ripped it apart... Damn my unorginization.



Will Update first start up tonight!!!!
