timing chain slack ?
Measure in degrees the slack and report back. I can say that based on the video if there is more than 1/4" of movable slack then that is too much to start with; you have not even accounted for normal stretch of a new chain after install.
Hope that helps
Its like $50 and the bracket attaches to the cam plate cover and you dont have to drill into your block. Thats what i did and i feel alot more comfortable having the damper there to deflect whatever slack in the chain
