Smoke after cam install.

2002 Camaro SS, had a (big) cam installed over Memorial Day and have noticed what appears to be blue/gray smoke coming out the back. Noticed it almost immediately but has gotten worse. After about two to three thousand miles I have checked the dipstick and can tell no real oil consumption. Car has 13400 miles. Any input would be appreciated.

Valve seals? Maybe try some thicker weight oil and see what it does.

Like mentioned... valve seals would be my suspicion. I did the cam swap on my truck at ~100k miles and the seals were brittle and falling apart so I replaced them with some felpro vitons.

if you didnt change valve seals that is the problem my first cam swap on a ls engine years back i was an idiot and didnt change seals car started using two quarts of an oil per oil change changed seal went back to the way it always was using none to a half quart

Sounds like it could very well be valve seals.
