valve seals I just have a quick question for you guys. I have a 2000 Camaro LS1 with 241 heads and i'm running pac 1518 beehive valvesprings. I've changed my valve seals twice already because some of them keep getting unseated. They are the 2 piece design-seal is seperate from seat. My question is if I can use the newer 02+ design that has the seal and seat as one piece. Thanks.
You shouldn't have a problem. 241's came stock on 02 cars that came with the 1 piece seals. Some of the older heads have valve guide bosses that are machined differently and you cannot use the 1 piece seals.

Thanks for the reply. I guess i'll try them but I was hoping someone would chime in that has already done this and didn't have a problem. I wouldn't think there would be a problem but you brought up a good point about the valve guide bosses. Maybe i'll wait to see if anyone else has more info.
I don't think the bosses are different. I have an 02 and ran the two piece design for a while with aftermarket springs. Since you are running beehives, they will be fine. Since the seat is included as part of the seal, you won't need the seats you currently have on the heads.
